A few weeks ago when we went to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, we brought home a special treat for our front door. I’ve seen a lot of these float rope doormats in stores in recent years and we finally decided to bring one home with us.
It’s that time of year again! Time to celebrate 3 years of marriage here in Kat+Moose world. Last year I posted on unique cotton-themed anniversary gifts, and (randomly) it’s been one of the most widely read posts I’ve written. Which just goes to proves there aren’t very many good ideas out there and other people are searching for ideas just like myself.
My favorite holiday is a toss-up. Every time one comes along I get caught up in the spirit of things and convince myself that this one is actually my favorite. So take it with a grain of salt when I tell you how much I love the 4th of July. I love it so much I’m committed to putting it in my top 3, maybe even top 2.
I’ve said it before, but I’m an accessories girl. Earrings, necklaces, shoes, and scarves.
Scarves are one of my favorite ways to accessorize and also keep me warm! It’s definitely spring here in Boston, but my scarf-loving ways will stay strong at least until June. (Then I usually don’t bother with them until October or so.)
I am sitting in our brand new family room as I type this post. That is a sentence I never thought I would write! : ) Well, maybe not never, but it was hard to picture it becoming a reality. We have a few more bits and pieces to do before I share an “after” post, so I hope you can all at least pretend to share my excitement!
We, obviously, do a lot of projects around the home. Today I thought I’d talk about a place you wouldn’t necessarily think of for your DIY needs….. Amazon.com!
I am one of those people who have ice cube hands and toes.
I hope you all have some patriotic and happy 4th of July plans! We will be listening to the melodious tunes of James Taylor in the middle of the Berkshires at the outdoor Tanglewood concert hall.
We are excited! The weather forecast is lookin’ good, so we are packing up our favorite picnic must-haves:
While we have been experiencing an unusually warm March here in Boston, rainy spring can’t be held off forever.
Rainboots, or “wellies”, are one of my favorite types of footwear.
